Lost Queen (2026)

Story / Synopsis

Lost Queen is a poignant documentary centered on Sultana Begum, the great-granddaughter-in-law of the last Mughal emperor, Bahadur Shah Zafar. Living in poverty in a Howrah slum, she wages a solitary legal battle to reclaim her ancestral right to the Red Fort - once the heart of imperial India, now a distant memory. Through her powerful story, the film explores the forgotten legacy of India's last royal bloodline and the quiet strength of a woman confronting historical silence.
